The holidays are here. Soon I’ll be baking for Thanksgiving. I have two historical recipes I’m very excited to try, specifically an early mashed version of pumpkin pie from the 1600s and an early version of pumpkin cheesecake from the Tasting History cookbook. Whatever you are eating for the holidays this year I hope it’s delicious.
However, the holidays also mean sales, and Tempest in a Teapot is currently on sale for 99 cents through Black Friday. Grab a copy here. If you don’t want to buy, you can recommend my books to your local library to help spread the good word about my books. Heck, you can even do both!
Thanks to this sale I hit #1 on the gaslamp fantasy charts on Amazon. Plus last time I checked I was at #8 for romantic fantasy. Quite the exciting way to close out my second year of indie publishing, and I excitedly took plenty of screenshots. This Thanksgiving I’m grateful for all the readers who gave my books a shot. Thank you all! I’d like to keep writing lots of books and every sale and review I get helps me continue my goal. I couldn’t do that without you.
I have a lot in the works behind the scenes too. I have more books to come later in my current series, but I also have a new series I’m hoping to share next year. The new series leans more toward cozy fantasy with a romantic subplot, but it’s also been a blast to write and research. This time we’ll be visiting a fantasy version of 1930s Pittsburgh. I can’t wait until I have more news to share about it.
Until then, Happy Holidays!
