I’m Kate Valent, indie writer of all things fantastical. History, magic, and romance play heavily into my writing. My love of tea tends to pop up in my stories too. My whimsical fantasies are cozy, silly, and don’t take themselves seriously. My historical stories use my history degree in a way that would only disappoint my professors.
When I’m not writing I’m probably haunting the library, playing video games, hiking, or making mead. I live in Pittsburgh.
